What is the "My Info" button?
The "My Info" button is a "My Web Search" toolbar (or "My Way
Search" toolbar if you downloaded the toolbar after 12/18/03) feature
that gives you one-click access to an entire Web portal filled with
personalized information - all without interrupting your Web
experience.
Get the latest news, sports, weather, finances, and daily features
like horoscope, movie listings, lottery results, My Reminders and
more - all through one amazing button.
Your "My Info" content appears in a thin window to the immediate left of
your main browser window. This window allows you get your updated info at any time
throughout the day without having to leave the site you're currently browsing.

What is the source of all the "My Info" content?
The "My Info" feature on your toolbar is
powered by My Way - a Web portal with no banner ads and no pop-ups. My Way's content sources include some of the most respected names on
the Web, including The Associated Press, Reuters, The New York Times, Fox
News, CBS News, MSNBC, CBS Marketwatch, TheStreet.com, Weather.com and more.
The "My Info" feature - like everything on your toolbar - is
free.

My information is not up to date. Why?
Look for the
"refresh" icon ( )
at the top of the My Info page
to update your
stock quotes, sports scores, news headlines, weather conditions and
more.

Why must I register to get personalized "My Info" content?
You need to register so that we can customize your information.
Registration is easy, and you don't need to share any personal
information. Once
you've signed up, you'll automatically get
local weather, movie listings and lottery results, and you can customize such features as sports scores, stock quotes, news categories, horoscope, sunset/sunrise and more.

by My Way - a web portal
that features no banners, no pop-ups and doesn't collect personal

Can I use the "My Info" button if I don't register?
Yes and no. If you're not registered or signed in to your account, you can
still use "My Info" to give you general information such as news headlines,
Daily Quote, Market Snapshot and more. But most of the My Info features
and content requires that you are signed in to your account.

What does this icon (
) do?
This is the "refresh" icon found at the top of most "My Info"
pages. Clicking it updates the content in
your "My Info" window. So,
for example, if you wish to update your stock quotes in your My Info window, you can do so quickly by clicking this
icon.

What is the "edit" button for?
Many "My Info" pages allow you to customize or "edit" them when you are signed in to
your account. Clicking the edit button allows you to change your content's
preferences any time you wish. For example, if you would like to add more
locations to your Weather page, just click "edit" and follow the simple
steps in your main browser window. You can edit your sports teams, news
categories, stocks, horoscope, movie listings, personal reminders and more.

Why are there tabs and a pull-down menu on
each "My Info" page?
Once you've opened your My Info window via your toolbar's My Info
button, you can navigate to any content category - News, Sports, Weather, Money
and Daily info - by using the tabs at the top of the page.
Within each category, you will find a pull-down menu above the content that lets
you navigate to the other features within that content category. So, for example, if you
are on the "My Sports" page, you can use the pull-down to quickly access
Sports Standings or Sports Calendar. Or, if you're on the "My Weather"
page,
the pull-down menu options provide you with access to My Moon, My Sunrise/Sunset and My
Tides.

How do I remove the "My Info" button from the toolbar?
First, click the small arrow to the right of
your "My Web Search" button - the button to the far-left of the toolbar with the My Web
Search logo on it. (If you downloaded the toolbar after 12/18/03,
this will be a "My Way Search" button.) From the dropdown, select "Add/Remove
Buttons". Now, uncheck the "My Info" box in the Cool Tools
module. Click the "Finished" button and your My Info button
will be removed. You can always add it back at any time by repeating
the steps above and checking the "My Info" box.

How do I uninstall the toolbar?
To permanently remove your
toolbar, you must do the following: From your computer's Start button, select
"Settings", then select "Control Panel". Double-click on the "Add/Remove
Programs" icon. Now select "My Web Search" (or "My Way Search"if you
downloaded the toolbar after 12/18/03) and click "Remove". The toolbar and My
Info feature have now been uninstalled.
